The Air Force MTAPP is a small business initiative that focuses on solving the supply issues of the Air Force and the Department of Defense by expanding and enhancing the industrial base of domestic small business manufacturers.
MTAPP improves the utilization of the small business supplier network by using an innovative approach of addressing supply problems with small business manufacturers. MTAPP impacts the Air Force warfighting capability by addressing supply problems that impact mission capability rates on Air Force weapons systems.
MTAPP selects up to 25 new suppliers to participate in the program on an annual basis. New MTAPP companies will be chosen based on a selection criteria developed by integrating the findings of our annual research study with the feedback from the MTAPP Steering Committee. In the selection process, small manufacturers' minimum performance thresholds and overall capabilities are considered.
Registration (self nomination) for the Air Force MTAPP is opened to U.S. small business manufacturers.
