A1. What is the Air Force HBCU/MI Program?
The Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Program within the Air Force is a key pillar of the overall Air Force mission. Involvement of the SDB community not only makes economic sense, it is the right thing to do. Maximizing SDB participation in contracts is a goal for all of us.
Several tools are available to do this. The Air Force SDB program encourages maximum use of the SBA's 8(a) program and various contracting incentives. Our advocate is ready to discuss these and other business opportunities with any SDB representative who wishes to become part of the Air Force team.
Your Air Force Small Disadvantaged Business Advocate is Mr John Caporal.
